TUSCANY BY THE SEA
La Banditaccia. Sun, sea and marvellous coves. The Tuscan sea offers unique colours and emotions. The beaches of Capalbio extend for approximately 12 km, and thanks to the WWF Oasis and to a limited access to people due to the scarce parking spaces, the coast has been perfectly preserved. There are approximately 6 km of public beaches, flourishing with Mediterranean maquis, essentially composed of junipers. Whoever wishes to visit other beaches close by, the Argentario is near, and there are many beaches with suggestive names: the “Acqua Dolce” beach, the “Cantoniera”, the “Spiaggia Lunga”.

If you wish to visit the marvellous coast or visit the Giglio Island, on request at an extra charge, it is possible to get a comfortable inflatable boat SACS for 6/8 people, 7.80 meters long, 140 HP motor, with a Sun top, 2 sun loungers and a shower. You must have a boat licence.


DESCRIPTION OF THE HOUSE
La Banditaccia. Beauty is everywhere. Your stay in Tuscany will be in harmony with your wishes. The luxury house “La Banditaccia” in Maremma is all this. An enchanting place created to make every instant extraordinary. The beautiful house, recently refurbished with great care, is characterized by architectural elements that are based on the local tradition, such as the embrasures inspired by the ancient barns or the arches that surround the windows, the wooden beam ceilings, the white-washed oak flooring. “La Banditaccia” welcomes its guests in bedrooms that are equipped with every comfort, each with its own bathroom and a panoramic view on the woods and hills evoking the Renaissance. All rooms are very bright thanks to the great number of windows and French windows. 700 m2 distributed on three floors. Great elegant convivial spaces assure the pleasure of an unforgettable Italian living experience. The central body of the house is constituted by a large living room on two levels, centrally dominated by a great 360° chimney. The dining room is characterized by a table that seats 12 and a pool table. On the same level there is a big kitchen, with a chimney, a grill, 5 burners, an oven, a dishwasher, a large fridge and a table that seats 14.

The kitchen
The kitchen opens to a comfortable outdoor space equipped with a large BBQ, comfortable chairs and an outdoor table that seats 12 where you can have breakfast, lunch, dinner, all the while enjoying the relaxing hillside landscape. The center of the garden is dominated by a big and elegant mirror infinity pool, harmoniously inserted in the natural environment. On the adjacent lawn there is a big awning where you can rest in the shade.

The living room
On the ground floor, one side of the living room opens to a superb shady patio, dominated by a cork oak, where there’s the pleasant sound of water flowing in a traditional fountain. On the opposite side the French windows open to a garden with cork oaks, cypresses, holm oaks, olive trees and large plant racks with bushes and perfumed essences.

In the lower part, the living room overlooks a comfortable outdoor area which faces the great lawn and the external infinity pool. On the same floor, going down two steps, the master bedroom (Van Gogh room) with a private bathroom, and an adjoining peaceful porch where you can rest on hot summer afternoons. Next to it a single room (‘900 room) and a second bathroom. On the opposite side a spacious kitchen fully equipped. At the center there is a large table capable of seating 14 guests.

The home cinema room
On the first floor a comfortable living room with a Home-Video system with a Plasma Monitor 50” and Dolby Surround, equipped with DVD player and subscription to Sky TV. A double bedroom with private bathroom (Sarah room), and a terrace overlooking the hills. A third double bedroom (Butterfly room) and a children’s room with two beds (Twins room). A bathroom with a shower. All ceilings are made of wood and white-washed chestnut beams and all floors on this level are made with oak strips.

The external infinity pool
Enjoy the pleasure of swimming outdoors, surrounded by sweet mild nature. The area is equipped with designer beach chairs, and a large awning that makes plenty of shade. The pool’s water is chemical free (no chlorine).

The internal swimming pool
At the lower ground floor the relaxing area with internal heated pool and beautiful natural light thanks to 5 big skylights. On the same floor an accommodation for staff equipped with kitchenette, living area, sofa-bed, double bedroom, bathroom with shower, can sleep up to three people. A laundry room and a drying rack.
